Explorers and Adventurers are brave women and men who have journeyed far and wide to teach us all about the world in which we live in. But what makes a person so significant that we now learn about these travels that took place so long ago? Neil Armstrong, Christopher Columbus, Ibn Battuta and Amelia Earhart are some examples of significant historical figures. We will be finding out the 5 W’s (Who, What, Why Where & When) for each significant explorer and then writing our own reports using ICT to produce our presentations for a parent assembly.
