This half terms topic is called “Toy Stories.” We will be exploring the wonderful world of Toys! Thinking about where they come from and how they have changed over the course of recent history. As part of our Science and DT learning will be designing, creating and evaluating our own push/pull along wheeled toy which will take part in ‘Class 2’s Big Race’ as our topic finale in the hall. In English we will be thinking about ‘Dogger’ by Shirley Hughes and our favourite toys, what makes them so special and what adjectives we would use to describe them. We will also learn how to write instructions to make a wheeled-toy.
